Thought for Today – A Ministry of John Palatucci

Good morning,

Thought for today

“All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD; and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before You.” (Psalm 22:27) The God of Israel is the Lord of all nations. He has His people in every nation on earth. This Gospel of Jesus Christ is to be preached in all nations. It is the Great Commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Psalm 22:27 is seen as fulfilled in Revelation 7:9-11. ” … a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne … and worshipped God.” The goal is to invite people to the Lord, to worship Him in spirit and in truth. Man was made to worship God, mot people or things. If we don’t worship the true and living God, we will worship false gods. That includes idols or self. Not to forget, that Satan seeks to deceive man into worshipping him. We read about it in Romans 1:25. They “worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator.” “The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.” The way we do that is through worship. “They shall praise the Lord that seek Him,” Psalm 22:26. We praise God through prayer and song. We praise Him for who He is, a great God and greatly to be praised! We praise God as we present our lives to Him. The praise and worship of Almighty God is the primary focus of the believer now and forever.

“Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Praise Him, all creatures here below.
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host.
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.”

Have a very blessed day
